What is HiPPOtours' unique proposition?
The HiPPO is a TOPless Open Top bus offering 360 degree panoramic view. Its unique features enable the sights and sounds to be felt by passengers on board.

However, timings may alter due to traffic and weather conditions. Schedules are subjected to changes without prior notice. Daily updated detailed timing is available from the HiPPOcrews.

What is the likelihood of a route change?
Sometimes, there may be road closures due to events or roadworks which are often beyond our control. We will offer an alternative route in such circumstances; we will endeavour to notify all customers prior to the day that we will be offering and alternative route.

How long does the tour last?
Each tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

What is offered in the tour?
The HiPPOtainer will be providing live commentaries.

For City HiPPOtours, we will be covering hotels, major shopping malls along Orchard, major attractions such as Botanic gardens, The Esplanade, Raffles Landing Site and Merlion Park.

For Heritage HiPPOtours, we will be covering the major heritage sights in Singapore such as Chinatown, Little India Kampong Glam, historical District, etc.

For Sentosa HiPPOfeeder, we offer a link between the City (Suntec & Orchard) to/from Sentosa.

What is the capacity of the buses?
The loading capacity of each bus ranges between 51-55 pax.

Where do we board the vehicle?
The bus departs from Suntec. However, you can hop on at any of 33 bus stops that our HiPPO buses call at and purchase the tickets onboard.

Can we simply get on and off by hailing the driver?
Yes. The Hop-On Hop-off system allows you to tour at your own leisure pace. Spot an interesting place or sight and simply inform the captain or HiPPOtainer. Hop off and walk around at your on pace and you can always continue the tour later by hopping onto the next HiPPO bus.

Are there refreshments on board?
Yes, pure drinking water is sold onboard to quench your thirst.

Can I charter the HiPPO bus exclusively?
Yes. The entire HiPPO bus can be chartered for your own specialised tour. Please call us for more details.

Do you offer reserved seating?
Seating for most tours is on a first-come first-served basis, no assigned seating is available but all seats are of the same.

Are we allowed to take wheel-chairs, etc on board?
We are wheel-chair friendly with ramps being built and spaces for wheel-chairs are available on the lower deck of the buses.

Will my tour be cancelled if it is undersold?
The tours we offer are all the most popular in the area. It is very rare that we do not meet the minimum to operate but in instances of unforeseen circumstances like breakdown of buses etc, we will duly assist to operate and update efficiently.

Will I be charged if I need to change my tour date or if someone in my party is unable to go on the tour?
Changing your tour date is generally not an issue if space is available. There is no charge to change a reservation. However, any cancellation is subjected to a FULL CHARGE. If passengers do not show up for the tour then the money paid is non refundable.

How do we compare with other topless tour operator?
1. HiPPO comes with LIVE commentary. Others are recorded.

What type of packages do you offer?
Singapore Sightseeing Pass
Pay for a full day pass and enjoy the 2nd day for free! We offer the Singapore Sightseeing Pass @ $33/Adult; $17/Child. For the price of the City and Heritage HiPPOtours and HiPPO River Cruise, you get to enjoy free extra day access and free Moonlight and Sentosa Rhino tour. The Open top HiPPO offers you a great 360 degrees panoramic view bringing you to Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, Historic Civic District, Esplanade, Sentosa, Botanic Gardens, Suntec and Orchard with every 25 minutes departure covering 33 stops across the city. Hop on and off from 9am to 10pm daily, it is full day of touring fun with all 5 tours!

• payment on HiPPObus is strictly cash. Major credit card is accepted in most of the land-based ticketing locations.

Will we see all the major sights?
Yes, with 5 routes, it is most comprehesive way to see the best of Singapore has to offer from 2 systems, both on land and from the river. It is a fully integrated system using multi-modal mode, bus and boat.

Will we get a commentary?
Yes, unlike other operator, there is full commentary in English for both the HiPPObus and River HiPPOboat touring system.

Will we be able to Hop On and Hop Off?
Yes, your Pass give you unrestricted access throughout the day from 9 am to 10 pm on the land and river system. In all 5 routes. You can travel on any of our buses or boats. Each route makes frequenct stops - simply hop off where you want to and return to the same stop to continue your tour both in the city or at the river.

Can we join the tour at any stops?
Yes, just hop on be it at the River or in the City and tickets are available onboard our bus and boat.

Can we use our tickets all day long?
Yes, the Day Pass is valid until the same time the following day for use during our operational hours.

Will I need to wait for long for the next bus or boat?
No, we do not want to keep you waiting and there will be a HiPPO every 25 mins. Clearly a better choice when others are offering a bus frequency at 2 hrs interval.

Can we get the tickets on the day?
Yes, you can start your tour anytime and just go to our designated stops and flag the HiPPObus down and purchase your ticket onboard to start the tour. Tickets are also available at our river jetties and land-based visitors centres. Please contact our helpline for assistance.

Will we be able to recognise the HiPPO Bus Stop?
Yes, some our stops are clearly marked with our logo. However, for those that are not marked, kindly refer to the HiPPOtouring Map and note the ‘landmark’ building associated with the bus stops. When in doubt, please contact our helpline @ 6-33-868-77.

What is Singapore Pass?

What are the Night tours being offered?
The night tours are included in the Singapore Sightseeing Pass. The Moonlight Adventure operates daily from 6.00pm to 9.30pm departing from Suntec. It showcases the best of Singapore night scene as well as a trip to Sentosa. The Songs of the Sea show at Sentosa is at $8.00 per pax (optional).
The Night Safari with Monster Rhino operates daily from 6.00pm to 9.30pm. Admission priced at $45/A and $25/C.
